 "Atlas" Movie One Step Closer! The Inside Scoop
Variety magazine reports a leaked story that Lionsgate, the independent studio whose movie "Crash" recently won the Oscar for best picture, will be producing a film version of Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged.
We've confirmed that a deal is going forward under which Lionsgate will take an option to finance and distribute the film.

TOC Opens an Office in Washington D.C. On June 5, TOC held a gala reception in the nation’s capital to celebrate the opening of its Washington office, headed by Ed Hudgins. Among the 170-plus people in attendance were members and staffers of TOC, two congressmen, several journalists, and representatives from many of the pro-capitalist think tanks that operate in and around Washington.
