Course Description:

To celebrate the centennial of the Wright Brothers flight at Kitty Hawk, Linda Tania Abrams will give a new dramatic presentation on the theme of aviation "firsts," from Icarus to the Apollo 11 moon landing, with special attention to the Wright Brothers’ own letters. Ms. Abrams is the founder of an acclaimed "living history" performing troupe, with 6 international tours to their credit. She has also created 5 one-woman shows, on subjects as diverse as Queen Elizabeth I and the space age, which she has performed at many venues, in the U.S. and abroad, and for 6 previous Summer Seminars. She has had a lifetime love affair with flight, and at one time held a private pilot’s license.
