Atlas Shrugged and the Psychology of Creativity

—Christopher Robinson, M.A.

Course Description:

Atlas Shrugged is Ayn Rand's greatest work. Over the decade Rand wrote this book, her ideas developed and she grew in knowledge and in skill of presentation. In this lecture, Christopher Robinson will trace the development of Atlas Shrugged to illustrate broader psychological principles of creativity. By understanding the general principles of creativity and how Ayn Rand exemplified them, each of us can enhance our personal creativity.

Christopher Robinson is a doctoral candidate in Cognitive Science at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and has presented papers at several TOC Advanced Seminars.
