Summer Intershipes
The Objectivist Center offers summer internships and visiting fellowships for students and scholars who want to work on writing projects at its offices in Poughkeepsie, New York.
The center is currently accepting applications for paid internships for the coming summer . Summer internships provide students with training in writing on Objectivist themes. Interns may work in variety of divisions at TOC, from Research and Training to Public Advocacy, depending on their aptitudes and interests and on TOC's current needs. (Interns may also spend some time on general activities around the office.) Past writing projects have included answers to frequently-asked questions about the philosophy and research papers on epistemology and ethics. Interns receive generous stipends for their support and must commit to at least ten weeks in Poughkeepsie working closely with TOC staff.
Applications are available on TOC's Web site and by request. For more details, e-mail wthomas@objectivistcenter.org or write to Thomas at TOC. Internships are also possible for non-summer months.
