Objectivist Studies: Scholarships and Internships

Student Scholarships
The generosity of the supporters of The Objectivist Center makes it possible for TOC to offer special student rates to our conferences and workshops, such as the Summer Seminar. Reduced student conference fees are intended to make attendance possible for most students. In addition, scholarships are available to help promising full-time students who could not otherwise attend. Scholarships are be awarded on the basis of merit and need. Scholarship awards vary from partial scholarships to those covering all costs of the event. Normally, TOC is not able to provide allowances for travel costs.

Internships and Fellowships

The Objectivist Center accepts student interns and research fellows to work on writing projects at the Center in Poughkeepsie on an irregular basis. These programs are for those with a systematic understanding of Objectivism and a strong commitment to advancing Objectivist ideas in the culture. For more information, contact William Thomas at TOC.

Another opportunity for students interested in working with the Center for reduced or waived fees at Center events is to work as a conference assistant. Look in the registration information for the event that interests you to see what opportunities are available.
